This Marlinton Deco Flush Mount Light features an antique inspired design that was popularized in the 1920s. It is an exact reproduction of the classic fixtures used in libraries, schools, and courthouses during this era. It exhibits a tiered structure and conical profile, reminiscent of a Schoolhouse-style form. About the Marlinton Deco Flush Mount Light:

• The batten holder comes in black, gold/brass or white finish. 
  
• The batten holder allows shades to be fitted as close to the ceiling as possible.
• Opal glass shade for diffused lighting.
• The glass shade exhibits a distinctive, Schoolhouse-style form, with tiered levels towards the lower section and a conical shape at the bottom.
• The glass shade is blown glass. Bubbles, lines, slight surface imperfections or discolouration are characteristics of this type of glass. They are not considered defects. 
• The glass shade is fitted to the batten holder with a gallery. Black and white sconces are paired with a matching gallery, while the Gold/Brass is paired with a black gallery. If you would like a gold gallery with this frame, please contact us.
  
• The shade will fit a light bulb with a maximum diameter of diameter of 100mm.
• The wooden mounting block pictured can be purchased separately here. Select the 10cm version for this fitting.
• The lamp holder takes a standard bayonet (B22) light bulb. Max 40W.
