Classic design combined with steel construction and porcelain enamel makes this black wall sign light versatile for both outdoor and indoor use. Porcelain enamel has been applied to the steel shade, resulting in a smooth, glossy black outer finish and contrasting white inner. It offers a timeless modern update to any restaurant fitout, cafe interior or gift shop. The application of porcelain enamel is a complicated process involving many different and very technical steps. About the Leeds Classic Wall Sign Light: 

• Gooseneck sconce constructed from steel.
• A curvaceous robust steel shade (not lightweight aluminium like many modern day copies) is angled to illuminate a wall or object such as a menu, sign or artwork. 
• This light has an IP22 rating. Always check with your electrician to see if this light is suitable for your desired placement. Please also consider suitability of materials for your installation location.
• It is wall mounted in a fixed position. 
• Measurements: the shade is 170mm in diameter across the widest part.
• The height from top of the gooseneck top to bottom of the shade is 330mm.
• The projection from the wall is 300mm.
• The wall plate is 113mm in diameter. The wooden mounting block shown in the pictures is not included. It can be purchased separately from here. Select the 12cm version from the drop down menu for this fitting.
• The lampholder takes a standard screw in (E27) bulb. Max 60W. 
• Our porcelain enamel shades use these same age old methods to produce shades that mirror the factory shades of yesteryear. By the nature of the complex process, shades may have varying degrees of minor surface imperfections such as chips, cracks and textural variations. These types of imperfections are exactly the same as those imperfections you might find in much loved vintage shades that used exactly the same method of enameling. They add to the shade's character and appeal and are not considered defects.
