Cellar Batten Light

This Cellar Batten Light is so versatile it could be used in almost any room setting. The black shade is constructed from steel and the solid copper shade with an aged finish may suit your space. The batten holders are finished in black, gold/brass and white. The swivel fixture at the sconce is designed to be locked into desired position once installed. This allows for semi-permanent directional lighting. These cellar wall lights look great as beside wall lights or in café booths and restaurant walls.

About the Cellar Batten Light: 

• The shades are made from steel or solid copper so you can be assured of their quality.
• The cellar shade diameter is 155mm and 160mm high
• The batten holder can be adjusted through 90 degrees.
• The metal sconce is 100mm in diameter and 50mm in height and has a vintage style antique brass lampholder with an adjustable joint.
• The wing nut joints is designed to be positioned as desired and then set into place with infrequent movement of position. To adjust the knuckles the wing nut screw needs to be entirely removed and then reinserted after adjustment. The knuckle is not to be adjusted with the wing nut still in place.
• The steel shade has a matt black outer and white inner.
• The Aged Solid Copper shades are made from solid copper. It has been fired for an aged look finish. These shades have a natural oxidised finish that continues to develop over time. The rustic finish is rough showcases the natural aged beauty of copper. The inside is cleaned (not buffed) and then left raw. This finish will continue to patina over time dependant on the environmental conditions they are placed in.
• Our copper shades are made with 100% natural materials. The finishes are not designed to be a uniform, consistent finish. A consistent finish can only be achieved through electroplating over cheaper materials. The beauty of choosing natural materials are the characteristics of the imperfections and patina which continue to develop over time. The imperfections are not considered defects.
• The wooden mounting block pictured can be purchased here. Select the 10cm version for this fitting.
• The distance from the wall to the centre of the lamp holder is 105mm including the wooden sconce or 85mm without the wooden sconce.
• Requires one Australian standard B22 (bayonet) 40W max light bulb.
